Welcome to 2010 !!

In this Silver Jubilee year of the Michigan Konkani Association, we wish you a Happy New Year, and invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone with a renewed sense of community and kinship!

2009 was a difficult year in more ways than one, and the 2009 Committee did a fabulous job of conducting our gatherings with enthusiasm and style. Thanks very much!

We have planned our community events for 2010 - please mark your calendars with these dates and locations:

Ugadi:
Date: Saturday, April 17, 2010, 5:30 PM - 9:30PM
Location: Faith Bible Church, 23414 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI

Picnic (replaced by community service event):
Due to declining attendance over the last few years, we have decided to replace the picnic with community service events during the summer. This will be our way of giving back to the larger Metro Detroit community, and we are sure that we will have your enthusiastic support. Details will follow in later communications.
