Skating/ Roller Blading event at Bonaventure on Saturday (24-April-2004):

The skating event was a success. We had good representation:

Keyura and Malavika Mendonza
Maya, Arjun, Prabha and Anil Bhat
Karthik, Geetha and Pradeep Bhandarkar
Vishaka, Trisha and Venkat Mallya
Anoop, Nina and Jayshree Baliga
Anand, Arun and Sandhya Prabhu
Sanjana, Malavika and Ajit Pai
Sonia, Meera and Sheila Prabhu

Venkat Mallya, Niranjan Shenoy, Prabha Bhat, Anil Bhat, Malavika Mendonza, Srimala Pai, Vasudhan Bhat tried on their skates. Prabha, Anil,Niranjan and Venkat were trying the skates on for the first time.They learnt to balance and move forward without falling, without support. Now they are pros:).....All kids skated. Most of them were trying it out for the first time too. So there was lot of falling, boo-boos, waa-waas.. and skating...swoooosh...Everybody had a wonderful time chatting, laughing and maaza maaring. Must have been a achy Sunday...whew..
